About C-Tech Innovation

Our mission is to design and supply process equipment for our clients that delivers step-change improvements in capability, productivity, and quality. Our focus is continuous process technology, including processes with electrochemical and electro-heating requirements. We support our clients in the transition to all-electric process technologies.

Since the company’s establishment in 2001 we have been designing and building a wide variety of novel process equipment on behalf of our clients, including for laboratory, pilot and production scale use. We have experience of designing to the most demanding chemical and pressure and temperature specifications for our electrochemical, ohmic heating, microwave chemistry and microwave plasma technologies. We are proud to have created solutions to many difficult engineering challenges that could not be solved elsewhere. The key to our success is our culture of innovation and our solution-driven thinking.

We deliver all of our work from our premises in Capenhurst, Chester, UK, which has everything needed to support all aspects of process development from proof-of-concept up to finished equipment being tested and dispatched for installation at your site.

Laboratory Facilities:

We have three fully equipped chemical laboratories. Our analytical instrumentation includes HPLC, GC‑FID, GC-MS, MP-AES, UV-Vis, and a Quantitative Gas Analyser.

Demonstration Space:

We have 4,000 square feet of demonstration and testing space in 4 separate rooms. The space is provided with utilities and extraction for development and testing of pilot and production scale equipment.

Workshop Facilities:

We have 3,000 square feet of engineering space, including a fully equipped engineering workshop. We assemble all of our products on-site, and can make modifications and changes quickly if needed.

We pride ourselves in our people. Our multi-disciplinary team includes project managers, chemists, physicists, process engineers, control systems engineer, electrical and mechanical design engineers, and workshop and laboratory technicians.

Our project processes are tailored to our clients’ individual requirements, with extensive interaction and involvement at all stages of process and equipment design. Each project is assigned a dedicated project manager whose role is to understand our clients’ needs and ensure delivery on time.

Our support includes commissioning of plant at client site, operator training, and on-going maintenance and support as required. Our engineers and technicians are available for installation and support worldwide, with recently completed installations in US, Canada, South Africa and Australia.

We are ISO 9001 accredited. Our Quality Management System is tailored to the needs of bespoke project delivery, with particular focus on specification and design control. We have a network of trusted suppliers and use only the highest quality components and materials.
